This dough bowl appears to be from the mid-20th century and was constructed from traditional native materials and fired in the traditional manner.  The interior is slipped in red clay that has been stone polished in the same manner as the underbody.  The rim is black and the black design on the body of the Southwest Indian Pottery jar provides for a negative design of cream ovals which are very traditional Kewa - Santo Domingo Pueblo designs.

Condition: excellent condition
