Navajo jeweler Mary Matt was a silversmith for the Atkinson Trading Company for years. This bracelet by her is well above average in quality of silverwork and lapidary artistry. The silver content is quite significant and the stamping on the silver is exceptional.
The bracelet is stamped MARY MATT in 1/16th Gothic print, a signature she stared using as early as 1974. I do not believe this bracelet dates to that early date, however, it is in such perfect condition that it possibly has been in a collection and never been worn. It is a beautiful bracelet.
