This pre-1900 figurine was a departure from most of that time period. He has crossed legs, is holding his hands over his heart, and is minus the traditional pottery jar. His hair is sculpted and he was executed in micaceous clay. His head was broken at the neck and glued, and his right leg was broken below the knee and glued. He is still an outstanding figurine.
