Even though Gilbert Atencio was born in 1930. We feel that he belongs with this group of artists. He has kept the tradition and believed in the Dorothy Dunn Style.
His favorite subjects were ceremonies, ceremonial figures, and scenes from Pueblo life. Here he has painted a male and female in a dance ceremony.
