Miniature versions of traditional size utilitarian pieces always intrigue me. Were they teaching tools for young beginning potters or hastily made as saleable tourist items? In either case, they are always charming. This small bowl is every bit as traditional as its larger dough bowl inspiration. It is in excellent condition.
