Jerry Ingram has long lived in New Mexico and is a well known and sought after artist. He has always attempted to capture what it was like in the old days. His fascination with Northern Plains Indians has had a strong influence on his paintings.

This image features a back view of a dancer performing what is known as the Fancy Dance because of the elaborate feather bustle and ribbons and other accoutrements he wears. A front view of this dancer would not be as impressive.

The artist signed his initials J. I. in lower right. The painting is in original excellent condition and is framed using archival matboard.
