This box is unusual in that it is quite rectangular, being almost 3 times longer than wide. It appears long enough to hold cigarettes. The edges of the lid are beveled and stamped with semicircular designs. The top of the lid is stamped and has a beautiful blue oval domed turquoise cabochon at its center. The lid is attached to the box with handmade hinges and has a self-locking apparatus.
