Zuni Shell, Mother of Pearl and Sterling Silver Necklace [SOLD]

Rosita Wallace, a fine jeweler from Zuni Pueblo has created a very lovely flower necklace using subtle shades of mother of pearl, shell, turquoise, coral and jet. Wallace and her husband Anselm are known for their flower designs. Examples of their work are in Theda Bassman’s book, Zuni Jewelry. Wallace has fashioned nine perfectly shaped flowers of iridescent pink, yellow, white and silver mother of pearl. The largest is a yellow flower with two smaller pink ones surrounding it. They are all set on a double row of sterling silver beads. The piece is signed on the back RA Wallace, Zuni. Make sure to check out the complementing ring, bracelet, earrings and pin made by Wallace.
