This Third Mesa wicker plaque once was brilliant orange with a large black eagle predominating.  Over the years, the colors faded to the weaker and muted ones we see today.  As a faded plaque, it is actually more interesting because of the mellow tones.  The harshness of the orange color is muted.

Condition: very good condition with fading

Provenance: this Hopi Third Mesa Plaque with Eagle Image Design is from the collection of a gentleman from California
