Jock Favour is an Anglo artist from Arizona who uses traditional techniques of Native American jewelry-making to create classic old-style Southwestern jewelry. He generally uses only ingot silver and the finest high-grade stones to form one-of-a-kind pieces that pay tribute to the styles and designs of early 20th Century Native American silversmiths.

This amazing ingot bracelet pays homage to the techniques of early Diné (Navajo Nation) silversmiths, yet it still has Favour’s unique look. He set a spectacular oval shaped turquoise cabochon in a saw-tooth bezel and placed it on a heavy gauge band of ingot silver which has been deeply stamped, chiseled and filed. A flowering vine of stampwork graces either side of the band with a precisely hand-filed and chiseled band in the center. The bracelet evokes the feel of famous Diné jeweler Mark Chee who might have been inspired Favour’s work. It is signed on the back with Favour’s hallmark, a very small JF.
