The 1960s and 1970s were a time of innovation for Native American artists. This Navajo multi-gemstone silver cuff is an example of the creativity of an unknown artist of that era. The Diné artist placed 27 sky blue, high grade turquoise gemstones in rows of three with large silver drops in between the rows. All these elements were placed on a solid cuff of silver that was oxidized to create a stunning contrast between the turquoise gemstones, the silver drops, and the background. The bracelet is unsigned.
Condition: The Navajo Multi-Gemstone Cuff Silver Cuff with Silver Drops is in very good condition. The stones are all intact. There is a nice dark patina.
