Once Known Native American Jeweler

This is a wonderfully created pin representing a bee. The silver wings protect a turquoise body. The head is a round turquoise cab from which are attached the legs and pollinators. A safety device secures the pin. The workmanship in silver is nicely detailed and accurately depicts this important insect. The bee is one of the most important pollinators and is under threat in most places around the world. This piece is unsigned therefore we do not know the identity of the Diné jeweler.

Condition: very good condition

Provenance: this Diné of the Navajo Nation Silver and Turquoise Bee Pin is from the collection of a client
