Quite thick in width, this is a large and highly appealing bracelet made by Fidel Bahe, a Diné jeweler from the Navajo Nation. It was made from sterling silver and features a large leaf shape across the front.
Carved substantially on one side, the leaf has twelve points which spread across the entire length of the bracelet. They are ridged in texture and appearance, varying in span and thickness as they stretch out to each end. The entire span of the bracelet is textured. The bracelet is significant in weight.
There are markings on the interior that consists of a large X that is thicker on one end and thinner on the other. Additionally, there are long thin lines accompanied by three small, darkened triangles. This is the hallmark of Fidel Bahe, Diné jeweler.
Certainly, this is a wonderful piece to be adored by both serious collectors and jewelry lovers.
