Le déjeuner sur l'herbe (English, "The Luncheon on the Grass") – originally titled Le Bain (The Bath) – is a large oil on canvas painting by Édouard Manet created in 1862 and 1863.In this etching, "Luncheon in the Canyon," Diego Romero has made a classical reference to Edouard Manet's "Luncheon on the Grass."  Romero has used two well-muscled men with faces from Mimbres pottery designs and a nude version of the Pueblo Corn Maiden as participants in the picnic.  Romero has named the two males the Change Brothers and they are, in fact, based on Diego and his brother Mateo.
