One can only assume that the artisan who made this pair of earrings deliberately selected a beautiful blue turquoise cab for one earring and an equally beautiful green turquoise cab for the other one.  Sitting side by side, it makes for an unusual display, however, when being worn on opposite sides of the head, it is an interesting concept.

Each of the turquoise cabs was set is a silver bezel that was fastened to a silver backing that was then beautifully adorned with silver along the edges and silver drops at the bottom.  In order not to conflict with the turquoise, the dangle part was attached to a silver dome at the post.

Condition: this Pair of Diné Silver and Turquoise Earrings is in very good condition

Provenance: from the extensive vintage Southwest Indian Jewelry collection we received in August 2018 from a Colorado family.
