Construction of this ring started with a band that is solid in the middle and branches out to split ends which are attached to a silver plate that supports the turquoise.  The split ends were then covered with a V-shaped silver sleeve which displays a variety of stamped designs.  These side silver additions provide additional dressing to the sides of the ring.  A large round turquoise cabochon sits beautifully on top.  It is surrounded by twisted silver wire.
