Beautiful light green gemstones with stunning navy-blue matrix are the centerpieces of these late twentieth century earrings. Diné silversmith Elvis Nelson set these gemstones within a frame of traditional Navajo stampwork. The uniquely colored gemstones are set in straight edged bezels and surrounded by frames of twisted wire.
Dangling from the upper diamond shaped section of each earring are silver crosses. The crosses were delicately stamped with a series of feather-like crescents. The earrings are stamped with the artist's hallmark–EN. The earrings are equipped with posts for pierced ears.
Condition: The Silver Stamped Navajo Earrings with Unique Green Cabochons by Elvis Nelson are in excellent—almost like new condition.
Provenance: From the collection of a Santa Fe resident
