Adobe Gallery announces an exhibit of The Finest Art of the Diné with an opening evening reception TONIGHT - Friday, March 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
This exhibit and sale will feature select paintings by Diné (Navajo) artists Quincy Tahoma, Harrison Begay, Beatien Yazz, Tony Abeyta, Johnny Secatero, Adee Dodge, Gerald Nailor, Robert Draper, and Edmond Tracey; traditional and contemporary Navajo rugs, including outstanding examples of pictorial rugs; an excellent variety of traditional Navajo pottery by Rita Manygoats, Louise Rose Goodman, Jimmy Wilson, Kate Davis, Silas and Bertha Claw, and Jerry Whitethorn, and others; and a variety of early 20th century jewelry and silver objects by known and unknown silversmiths and lapidary artists.
