Classic Zuni Pueblo needlepoint work requires the artist to be adept at cutting and shaping extremely small pieces of stone. Zuni lapidary artist Vernon Wallace created this multi-stone needlepoint ring in the shape of a flower. The stones are secure in sawtooth bezels with silver drops in between each turquoise petal. The ring is signed with the artist name and dates to the last quarter of the 20th Century.

Condition: The Zuni Pueblo Needlepoint Turquoise Ring With Sunflower Design is in very good condition. Time and wear have altered the colors of the turquoise stones in an attractive manner.

Provenance: From a Colorado Southwest Indian Jewelry Collector
