Each stone is cut and meticulously set in mosaic style within silver channels. The Sun face is set stone-to-stone and the remainder is set in silver channel work. The facing is set on silver backing on which is stamped the artist’s name, J. D. Massie, the signature of husband and wife Jose (b.1943) and Dora (b.1943) Massie.
