This extremely well-crafted Navajo snake eye and turquoise dot ring was made in the mid 20th Century. Well shaped turquoise “snake eyes” were set securely in handmade bezels which were then placed in rounded shadow boxes. Small silver dots were interspersed between the stones and then also set on the outer edges of the shadow boxes. The ring was then shaped to fit the curve of a finger to allow for a comfortable fit. It is evident that a very skilled craftsman created this ring. The ring is unsigned.
Condition: The Zuni Pueblo Silver Ring with Small Turquoise Drops set in Four Shadow Boxes is in good condition. One stone has a very small chip, but it is still secure in the bezel and it does not affect the overall look of the ring.
