These channel inlay earrings are made in the style commonly referred to as “fishscale.” A Zuni Pueblo artist only identified by a single “E” as a hallmark separated four pieces of light blue turquoise by thin borders of sterling silver and set them in an elegant oval bezel. The earrings gently swing from a small, round silver post. They were skillfully crafted; the lapidary work being extremely well done as the stones rise evenly above the bezel. They date from the late 20th Century.
Condition: The Zuni Turquoise Channel Inlay Oval Earrings are in excellent condition.
Provenance: From a gentleman collector in Colorado
