Angela Baca (1927-2014) signature

Award-winning artist Angela Baca of Santa Clara Pueblo had been making carved redware and blackware melon bowls since 1955. She garnered awards from Indian Market in Santa Fe New Mexico in 1977, 79, 80, 81, and 92.

Angela T. Baca (1927-2014) was born to Severa Tafoya and Antonio Baca. Angela was the mother of David, Darryl, Leona, and Alvin Baca. When Angela passed away on February 16, 2014 she was 86 years of age.
