Carl and Max Luthy, Kewa (Santo Domingo) Pueblo silversmiths, ran a jewelry shop from 1960 to 1980, inviting many Native American artisans, mostly Navajos (Diné), to work in the shop, on their own designs. The Luthy's would sell the work for the artisans and keep a percentage for themselves.
