Ramona Sanchez Gonzales (c.1885-c1980) San Ildefonso Pueblo. Ramona was a contemporary of Maria Martinez, meaning she was born sometime around the 1870s or early 1880s. She was married to Juan Gonzales and was mother to Robert Gonzales whose wife was Rose Gonzales; therefore she was grandmother to Tse-Pé Gonzales. She was also the stepmother of Blue Corn (Crucita Gonzales Calabaza).

Ramona was a skilled potter in many pottery techniques, styles and forms. According to Nancy Fox, former Curator of Anthropology Collections at the Museum of New Mexico, Ramona was "...one of the most respected potters of her Generation."
