Alberta Nofchissey Mason, Diné Potter, Navajo Nation

Diné artist Alberta Nofchissey Mason of the Navajo Nation is a master potter. Her pottery is in collections around the world.

She has gained recognition as a painter and musician as a student at the Institute of American Indian Arts, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her paintings are in galleries in the UK, private collections and the Smithsonian.

Alberta Nofchissey Mason (1941- ) is also an entrepreneur and a Founding Member of Native American Events, Inc. She holds a BA in Political Science from Brigham Young University, Provo.
