Roscoe Scott is a Diné artisan from the Navajo Nation who has been active since the 1970s fashioning Southwest Indian Jewelry. He worked as a bench smith early in his career for the Atkinson Trading Company. He is known for his fine overlay work.
Note: when we say Diné, as opposed to Navaho or Navajo, we are referring to the people and not the government. Since 1969, their government refers to itself as the Navajo Nation.
