Stacey Josytewa, Hopi Pueblo Silversmith

Hopi Pueblo silversmith Stacey Josytewa created jewelry when the overlay technique was invented.  The technique and design of their jewelry reflect elements that were initiated during the time period after World War II at the Hopi Silvercraft Cooperative Guild. Stacey Josytewa signed with an artist hallmark— the evening star.  We are seeing examples of their work from the last quarter of the twentieth century. 

I have been unable to find any additional biographical information on the artist.  I welcome any input from others if you have any information.
