Mamie Nahoodyce (1906-1999)

+ Add Artist to My Preferences

Mamie Nahoodyce lived in the Tewa Village on First Mesa on the Hopi Reservation. She worked with her sister, Patty Maho, making pottery. I recall that Mamie did not speak English, but only Tewa, and perhaps Spanish. She was an outstanding artist.
