Geraldine F. Sandia was born at Jemez Pueblo in 1950. For the past twenty years, she has been an award-winning artist. She gathers her clay locally and hand coils her pottery and fires in the traditional manner. Geraldine Sandia is the daughter of Cecilia and Arthur Loretto; wife of Wilbert Sandia; mother of Debbie, Natalie and Rachel Sandia.
