Charles Avery Amsden (1899 - 1941)

Charles Avery Amsden’s professional writings were numerous and important.  He had ranged the Southwest from the deserts of the Gila to the canons of the Colorado, from the buffalo pains to Death Valley.  He knew the land and he knew its living people.  He knew how to make the dead live again.
