Picture of Dennis DaubsDennis Daubs (Oboweya), Jemez Pueblo/San Ildefonso Pueblo. Dennis is the son of Gerri Gachupin Daubs; bother of Patricia and Steve Dabs His Teacher was Juanita Fragua. Dennis in know for is stone polished redware sgraffito jars, bowls and seed pots with Mibres animals, beetles, feather-in-a-row, spirals, frets and zigzag patterns. The quality of his carving is exceptional. His compositions are complex and his eye for small details sets his work apart. Dennis explained, "I use a different design on every piece of pottery that I make and each one is a challenging and rewarding one to complete.
