Picture of Vicentita Pino of Zia Pueblo.Vicentita Pino of Zia Pueblo has had a long and distinguished career as a pueblo potter. She has won awards at the Gallup Inter-tribal Indian Ceremonial and Santa Fe Indian Market since 1934. She was the Zia representative selected in 1974 to visit the White House and present one of her pieces of pottery to the President and Mrs. Nixon. Vicentita Pino was the Great-granddaughter of He-weé-a and Gaa-yo-le-nee; m granddaughter of Augustina Aguilar; daughter of Manuelita Aguilar Salas and Jesus Salas of Jemez Pueblo; wife of John Pino; mother of John B. Pino, Ronald Pino and Diana Lucero.
