Artist Signature of Paul Montoya, Povi Tanj, Ohkay Owingeh ArtistAward winning artist Paul Montoya has followed in the footsteps of his famous mother Gerónima Cruz Montoya. He is known for painting the ceremonial life of the Rio Grande people of Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo, formerly San Juan Pueblo.

Growing up on the campus of the Santa Fe Indian School where his parents worked, Paul Montoya (1950s- ) Povi Tanj has had a lifetime exposure to art. A prizewinner three different years at Santa Fe's Indian Market, Paul exhibits there along with his mother and brother, Robert Montoya.
