Ruby Saufkie, Hopi Pueblo, Bear Clan, active 1923-?: bundle coiled baskets, plaited baskets Ruby is the daughter of Siestewa (Mishongnovi) and Juanita Quamahongnewa; wife of Paul Saufkie; mother of Ramona Lomakema, Morgan Saufkie, Andrew Saufkie, Lawrence Saufkie, Paul Saufkie, Jr., Vaughn Saufkie and 5 other Children, 39 grandchildren, including Jerri Lomakema, 41 great-grandchildren; mother-in-law to Joyce Ann Saufkie. Ruby has won many awards over the years and has had exhibitions at the "Hopi Show" Museum of Northern Arizona, Flagstaff.
