Jimmy F. Calabaza Silver & Turquoise Bracelet
This exquisite silver and turquoise bracelet, crafted in the mid-1990s by Santo Domingo Pueblo jeweler Jimmy F. Calabaza (b.1949), beautifully reflects his signature fusion of traditional craftsmanship and modern design. The piece features a single, offset oval turquoise gemstone, elegantly set in a wave-like design that enhances its sense of movement and balance. With its double-banded sterling silver construction, this bracelet exudes a refined simplicity, making it both a timeless statement piece and a versatile addition to any collection.
This bracelet is stamped Ca'Win Sterlig on the inside.
Jimmy Calabaza has received many annual awards from Santa Fe Indian Market and the Museum of Arizona, and he has exhibited at San Diego Museum of Man, Los Angeles Southwest Museum, and Heard Museum in Phoenix. He is included in many current national publications. He runs a general store and small trading post at Kewa Pueblo, as well as being a farmer.
