Sandia Pueblo Pottery and Fine Art
Sandia Pueblo was abandoned by its inhabitants in the late 1600s but reoccupied in the mid-1700s by refugees from several pueblos. It is believed that Sandia, at one time, produced thick-walled black smudged pottery. However, few examples are known to exist and are the rarest.
