To New Mexicans, there is nothing as beautiful as the crisp morning air with nothing but the sounds of birds going about their early routine. The air is cool, the Sun is warm, and the clouds reflect the rays in their full splendor. Having grown up at Isleta Pueblo, Shirpoyo is very familiar with this scene and he has done a fine job of presenting it. But this time, there is a young boy (the artist himself) walking with two adults—a thoughtful, personal memory shared with us and forever portrayed in acrylic paints. Signed Shirpoyo and with his hallmark. Dated 5/10.
