This handmade bracelet was formed by a Diné silversmith of the Navajo Nation from three strips of silver—two narrow ones and one wide one, with the wide one in the center. They were connected at the ends with a narrow silver strip that crosses all three. Between the strips was placed twisted silver wire, providing stability and decorative accent.
The two outer silver bars were stamped with a chain of arches. The center bar also has a chain of design that incorporates combining the shape of the outer designs into a single design. The simplicity of the bracelet is its strength. It is classic in its looks.
Condition: very good condition
Provenance: this Diné Wide Silver Stamped Bracelet with Rope Design Accentss is from the collection of a resident of Taos
