Sadie Adams, Hopi Pueblo Pottery

Most salt and pepper shakers from this era are generally smaller and less professional looking than this pair.  The potter did an exceptional job in forming the shapes of the two units and careful thought and application of the design.  This is what one would expect from Sadie Adams.  She was a master potter.

Condition:  Both are in excellent condition with some wear to the brown painted designs.

Provenance:  ex. coll. Phoenix, AZ collector of Hopi pottery
