Alternate close up view of this bracelet showing the detailed Rows of Heishe

The bracelet consists of a wide silver band with a strip of heishi mounted in silver edging on top of the silver band.  A silver bar was placed on the outer edges of the bracelet.  Adobe Gallery has made the selection of Kewa Pueblo as the origin of this bracelet because of the extensive amount of heishi across the top.  This is a style more akin to a Pueblo artisan than to a Diné artisan.

The artisan chose a beautiful selection of brown and white shell heishi to place side-by-side over the top of the silver band, stretching from end-to-end.  It is a very striking modern cuff, yet with traditional Native materials.  The bracelet was not signed by the maker.

Condition: excellent condition

Provenance: this Kewa Pueblo Sterling Silver Cuff with Rows of Heishe is from the collection of a client from Michigan
