Marie Charlotte Suina Female Storyteller with 3 Children [SOLD]

This female storyteller figurine is hosting three children — two boys and a girl. The little girl is straddling the adult's right leg. She is wearing a ribbon in her hair. One hand rests on her face and the other is outstretched. Both boys are resting against the adult with both hands outstretched. The adult is wearing a beautifully painted shawl over her head.

Marie Charlotte Suina was a daughter of Ada Suina.  She passed away in 2010 at the early age of 46 years.  Her later storytellers are as much like those of her mom's as they could possibly be. She won an award at the 1988 Santa Fe Indian Market for one of her storyteller figurines.
