With this ring, the unknown Diné of the Navajo Nation artist mounted three dark green turquoise gemstones in the fashion referred to as shadow box. The silver frame around the floating turquoise is beautifully domed with a serrated inner edge on the silver, and cloud designs delicately stamped into the silver. The silver platform on which all of this is mounted is blackened for a very deep shadow effect.

This beautiful silver and turquoise ring is not signed with the name or hallmark of the maker, but the style of work defines it was made by a Diné artist of the Navajo Nation.
