Three rich blue-green turquoise cabs are the highlight of this Diné of the Navajo Nation bracelet. The turquoise appears to float on the surface like ice floes in the ocean. Each is secured in silver bezels surrounded by twisted silver wire. The band has solid ends which separate into three prongs as it rises to the center. The center prong ends with an arrowhead design. The outer prongs have "new moon" stamped designs.

The bracelet has a strong appeal, not with a heavy look but an elegant one. The lure of turquoise is not just an American Southwest phenomenon. Turquoise is valued worldwide, with evidence of use in ancient China and India. I do not know which Southwest mine produced these lovely turquoise gemstones, but they are rich in deep color.
