A beautiful sky blue domed turquoise gemstone with an exquisite copper matrix is the focal point of this Diné of the Navajo Nation silver ring. The turquoise is oval and secured in a silver bezel. Surrounding the turquoise is a silver halo that is also domed. The ring does not bear the name of the artisan.

The silversmith spent an extraordinary amount of work to provide the silver sun rays around the gorgeous turquoise gemstone, which itself has an effect of opal in the way the turquoise floats. Each elevated ray was formed individually by hand. It is too bad that he or she did not take credit by adding a hallmark to the work.

Condition: very good condition

Provenance: this Diné Ring with Sunburst Silver and Oval Turquoise is from the collection of a client
