Navajo Elegance: An Exquisite Silver and Coral Bracelet
Crafted by an anonymous Diné artisan from the Navajo Nation, this silver bracelet is a testament to exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. It showcases six oval-shaped coral cabochons, meticulously arranged side by side in a single band around the bracelet. The coral, boasting a rich hue, is beautifully polished, with each cabochon subtly increasing in size towards the center of the band, adding a unique touch to the design.
The silverwork on the bracelet is as profound as the coral itself. A coiled silver wire runs through the piece, neatly dividing the silver bars down the center. This intricate detailing is visible on both the front sides and the back, behind the coral, adding depth and complexity to the design.
Adding to the bracelet's charm are silver balls or drops that frame each individual coral cabochon. The ends of the silver at the bracelet's opening have been thoughtfully rounded for comfortable wear. The result is a stunning piece of jewelry that is not only gorgeous but also a delight to admire.
Despite its beauty and intricate design, the bracelet remains unsigned and does not bear a hallmark, adding an air of mystery to its origin and creation.
