At first glance, this wide silver cuff would appear to be a Hopi Pueblo overlay bracelet, however, this one was likely made by a Diné of the Navajo Nation. Hopi overlay jewelry is not highly polished as this bracelet but is left in a matte finish. The lower level of silver is scored with lines in true Hopi overlay, and is smooth black in this bracelet. It is not signed with the name of the Diné silversmith but appears to be of Navajo origin.
