Because of the nature of sterling silver, applying stampwork evenly is a difficult task. The silversmith that created this late twentieth-century cuff used various stamps and repoussé to design a classic Diné bracelet. The diamond shape design in the center of the cuff was made by using only a combination of lines and circular stamps. Repoussé sunbursts flank the center motif, separating it from similar diamond shapes on either side. The talented artist adorned the edges with flowing crescents.

The stampwork is symmetrical, and extremely well executed.  The bracelet is unsigned.

Condition: The Navajo Sterling Silver Stamped Cuff is in excellent condition.

Provenance: The bracelet is from a gentleman in Colorado.
