This Navajo silver bracelet was cast in two sections.  Each half of the silver was cast separately in the same mold and then soldered together at the midpoint of the bracelet after each section had been heated and curved.  A large and magnificent turquoise gemstone with a beautiful display of copper matrix was mounted in a silver bezel, surrounded by silver rope, and attached to the top of the arched silver band.

The sides of the silver band are ribbed like flowing water and there is a pair of buttress arches spreading from the center to the band sides.  The edges of the bracelet are rounded.

Condition: original condition

Provenance: this Diné Tufa Cast Silver Bracelet with a Turquoise Setting is from the collection of a resident of Texas
