This painting is entitled "Nό-yo-nόz-gόni" and is a painting of the Sandpainting of Navajo War God.  I have found very little information on the artist except that he has his art in the collections of the Denver Art Museum, Heard Museum, Riverside Museum, CA, and the Wheelwright Museum in Santa Fe, all of which have had exhibits of his work.

The watercolor is executed in the colors of turquoise, ocher and jet—perhaps the elements used in the actual sandpainting.

Condition:  The watercolor painting appears to be in excellent condition

Provenance: from the collection of Katherine H. Rust of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
